S. Donald Zaentz, M.D. , F.A.C.P.
S. Donald Zaentz, M.D., F.A.C.P. is the senior member. He completed his internal residency and fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. After serving on the faculty and Vanderbilt and upon completing his training, Dr. Zaentz joined the McFarland Clinic in Ames, IA, where he remained until 1985.
He spent two years in Ontario, Canada, serving as a consultant in hematology and medical oncology for the Ontario Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation. In addition, Dr. Zaentz served as Medical Director and consultant for the Bixby Medical Center Oncology Program in Adrian, Michigan. Returning to Iowa and the Quad Cities, he served as the Co-Medical Director of the St. Luke's Cancer Center and the Genesis Medical Center programs from 1991 to 1996.
Dr. Zaentz served in the United States Public Health Service as a medical officer at the United States Coast Guard Academy from 1969 through 1971. He has been married to his wife, Dorothy, for 40 years and has three children and one grandchild. Dr. Zaentz is board certified in both hematology and medical oncology and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.

Shobha R. Chitneni, M.D.
Dr. Chitneni's internal medicine residency training was at the Lutheran Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. Her fellowship in hematology and medical oncology was completed at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York. Dr. Chitneni joined Dr. Zaentz in practice in 1994, establishing Hematology-Oncology Associates of the Quad Cities.
Dr. Chitneni resides with her husband, Rao, and their three daughters. Dr. Chitneni is board certified in both hematology and medical oncology. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.

Mario B. Sy, M.D.
Mario B. Sy, M.D. joined the practice in June 2003. Dr. Sy completed his residency training in internal medicine at the Metropolitan Hospital Center of New York Medical College in New York City. His fellowship in hematology and oncology was at the University of California, Davis, in Sacramento. Upon completion of his training in 1998, Dr. Sy became a member of the staff at Turtle Lake Community Memorial Hospital in Turtle Lake, North Dakota, where he served as chief of staff for the past three years. Dr. Sy resides in the Quad Cities with his wife Susanna and their twin sons.
Dr. Sy is board certified in both hematology and medical oncology. He is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.

Bradley A. Sachs, D.O.
Dr. Bradley A. Sachs will be joining the practice in October 2005. Dr. Sachs completed his residency in internal medicine at the Bi-County Community Hospital/Henry Ford Health System in Warren, Michigan. His fellowship in hematology/oncology was at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Ellis Fischel Cancer Center. Dr. Sachs practiced in Michigan prior to moving to the Quad-Cities. He resides in the Quad Cities with his wife, Lauren.
Dr. Sachs in board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology, and board eligible in hematology. He is also a member of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
